Hyatt Regency Brunch
The Hyatt Regency Etoile hotel asked me if I’d like to indulge in their Sunday brunch, so of course I said “oui”! Located on the ground floor of the chic tower at Porte Maillot is their hotel restaurant.
The location is ultra chic, but the decorum could use a post-90’s update. Although they have a great little terrace good for the warm weather seasons and the restaurant is rather spacious. I actually felt like I was in an American type hotel… Oh wait, isn’t the Hyatt American! Well, that would explain it.
Chéri and I headed over there a couple weeks ago on a Sunday early in the afternoon. And boy did we get to indulge! A complete buffetbar with everything from fresh sliced ham to fresh vegetables, cheeses, squeezed fruit juices, focaccia bread, eggs, sausages…
All this available for the first course. And believe me I had to restrain myself so I could save room for the burger I ordered as my second course! A nice juicy burger with fries was the perfect way to indulge. They do a theme every month, September was themed…”meat”… yep. Uh so that’s why I got the burger, let’s just use that excuse.
I topped it off with a fresh fruit salad for dessert, and a coffee for digestion… but only after I oggled all the creamy pies and tarts that tempted me.
