Just steps away from the famous literary cafés, Café de Flore and Les Deux Magots, the Hotel Bel Ami has a new interior design by Philippe Maidenberg. This beautiful hotel is hoping to attract those travelers and tourists looking for a simple, elegant haven to find relaxation, proximity to the best the Rive Gauche has to offer, and comfortable Parisian luxury.

I first discovered this hotel when I attended an event for their new Carita spa opening that was followed but a fabulous party, proving that this address can be as luxurious as it can be fun! It is equally a contender for your Paris brunch selection on the left bank of Paris, and is worth a Sunday afternoon visit even if you aren’t staying in the hotel.

The rooms focus on simplicity and modern charm. Complimentary colors and almost-minimalist furniture make these rooms ultra cozy and perfectly comfortable. Noble materials such as velvet, leather and wood are all artfully integrated into the decor to create a harmonious atmosphere where the guest will no doubt feel the delight of this understated yet elegant luxury.

The mastermind behind this (these) hotel renovation(s) is Anne Jousse, the French businesswoman behind the B Signature hotel brand which boasts a small collection of boutique hotels in Paris and beyond. Her focus for her family run business, is to create an environment where you feel at home in all of her hotels, yet giving each one an identity. Madame Jousse works with a talented and dedicated team in each of her establishments, and I am always welcomed with warmth and grace whenever I step through the doors at number 7 rue Saint-Benoit in the quaint Saint Germain des Près quarter.

I am also a fan of the Hotel Bel Ami, because it offers a light an airy space to linger in the lobby and bar area, complete with Hermès wallpaper and a savvy bartender. And I am thrilled to be hosting my annual blog party at this incredible address. Just one of my favorite places to indulge in, one of my pieces of Paris…
