My apologies for the long hiatus (a month and a half) since last posting. Life was extra delicious and I wanted to enjoy it without the distraction of the blog.

But I must share with you the lovely moment I had at the Grand Hôtel du Palais Royal earlier in the summer. A cocktail party to celebrate summer and the new video that the hotel has put out on the internet, hoping to entice you to come stay at this incredible address.

The video features a dancer, in a beautiful jersey chemise dress tied by a pink bow at the base of her back, in twisted tendues and contemporary cambrés throughout the hotel. It gives life and movement to otherwise static scenery, which is beautiful in itself, but the when paired with a beautiful creature twirling down the hallway, it allows you to really imagine yourself there.

After viewing this two and a half minute film with popcorn, we enjoyed charming snacks prepared by their renowned kitchen and some fun summery atypical beer.

In case you didn’t know already that I love this hotel (it makes frequent appearances on my blog!) let me just tell you…. now I want to go pirouetting around its corridors and elegantly jump on the beds….
