Rose Pompom and Hotel Vendome Paris
Get your Parisian girly fix quick before it’s over!!! I had the pleasure of testing the tea time inspired by Annick Goutal’s perfume Rose Pompom at l’Hôtel de Vendôme until September 23rd. From 3:30pm to 6:30pm at the dainty 1950’s Dior style decorated restaurant 1 place Vendome (the ultimate in chic neighborhoods), and embellished with pink pompoms, you get to immerse yourself in the most feminine of décor you could hope for in Paris. Louise Wolmer imagined a dessert as voluptuous and delicate as the Annick Goutal scent.
A thin sphere of white chocolate is cracked open with a silver spoon to reveal a cassis and raspberry mousse that is as light as a cloud at the center of which lies a sponge cake soaked in rose liqueur. It’s everything you could imagine a carefree and dainty Parisian girl nibbling on for tea time. I say put on your prettiest dress and prance over to the Hotel Vendome for tea before it’s over!
And a lovely surprise awaits you after tea : an exclusive visit of the Annick Goutal perfume house. On the first floor up you will get time with the store director to learn about the history of this perfume brand and their creations. A journey for your senses no doubt, you afternoon will leave you feel the utmost Parisienne.
