A French Wedding Event
About a year ago I modeled for a wedding inspiration photo shoot at the Pontarmé castle, for my friend Frédérique who is a wedding planner and creator of magic. Now she has put together a fabulous wedding event at that very same castle with me on the poster! Eeeeeee!
Imagine a weekend of everything “French wedding”. The idea is to hold an intimate event that comes from Frédérique’s desire to put elegance and French charm at center stage. The wedding scene has changed quite a bit in France over the past few years and French weddings although enriched by the “Americanized” style of wedding planning still holds on to a savoir faire in hosting receptions. The art of receiving à la française. And what better place to do so than a magical French château full of that je-ne-sais-quoi that the French are so capable of creating to make any event the epitome of graceful style.
There are instructions on the website of Frédérique’s company Un Lys Dans L’Atelier, on how to get to the event, and buses will bring you from the train station if that’s how you are heading there.
Over 25 wedding service providers will be present to offer you a glimpse into the magic they make happen!
And as a bonus, on Saturday, we will all be in the presence of the guest of honor : Monique of the very popular French Wedding Style website and blog. (I have been married for over two years ow and I still love browsing her site!)
