A Paris Fashion Week presentation, in a folklore luxe setting, where models lounge under the spotlights in a carved wood decorated room at the opulent Plaza Athénée luxury hotel on avenue Montaigne…Augustin Teboul.
A team of two ladies. One French, one German (And who said the French and the German can’t work together?!?) 😉
Well they can, at least these two, and they make the most stunning articles to decorate the body (clothes is just too plain of a word for their creations). Halfway between ready-to-wear and couture these are dainty and dark, revealing and also masking… Costumes almost. This collection is a study in the shades of black. Using different materials, techniques and textures the two designers have made something really different, and extremely eye catching.
A lot of their pieces are done by hand, and the integration of crochet details, swarovski elements, overlay leather work, lace and beading are abundant in this collection. It is worth taking a closer look.
