Miss Mary, of Fox in Paris showed me a place that she had discovered, which is right up my alley.

A Little Paris Café Story
So my dear friend Quinn (who has just very recently left Paris for the Land Down Under to follow her ♥ -but she will be back someday, let’s say in like 2-3 years…) has been going to a café in the 9th for well over a year. And she has been going, religiously. I think she’s still the Mayor on Foursquare even though she is no longer in Paris! She kept telling me to go there, and me never “finding the time” to hike over there put it off and off. And then Quinn left…
Her café of choice? : Kooka Boora.

Earlier this month, the third edition to the Rose Bakery Paris family opened on the second floor at the Bon Marché on Paris’ Left Bank. After establishing a worldwide presence from Paris and London to Seoul and Tokyo, culinary power couple Rose and Jean-Charles Carrarini brought their organic, English tastes into a chic, Parisian atmosphere and opened the Rose Bakery Tea Room. “In respecting our values for what they are, and not what they represent, our move into the Bon Marché Rive Gauche avoids all stereotypes. Each of our locations is always very personalized. The space changes, but our cuisine remains the same.” Continue reading
P Comme… Paris!
I had the chance to meet the fun and perky personality of Milena P. of P Comme… She is a portrait photographer, an expat and a lover of Paris. She invited me to come over to her movable portrait studio, just steps away from the Eiffel tower.
Ladurée in NYC
Article by Frank Cierpial
Montclair State University is on Spring Break this week, so at the time when I would normally be in Advanced Spoken Language, I was on a train into New York Penn Station to find one of Paris’s newest most prized treasures, La maison Ladurée.
Vintage Car Ralley
If you have been following my blog for a decent amount of time, you then know that my favorite car is the 2CV! And there is a car service company in Paris that has pulled on my cute-little-car-lover’s heart strings : 4 roues sous 1 parapluie. I even used them for my wedding!
Well they sent me a press release for their second edition of this ralley : Les Plus Beaux Villages de France (the most beautiful villages of France) which takes from Paris to Cannes just in time for the famous film festival, I just had to share it with all of you. Can you imagine arriving in that kind of spectacular style?!? A line of darling and colorful 2CV?!? I wish so much I could do this but alas, I cannot take a week off work in May. But I hope some of you, my readers and fans will take advantage of the event, or plan your trip to France around it next year! This has got to be one of the most delightfully French and charming ideas I have ever heard of doing in France. I would give anything…. (almost)….
Le Petit Parisien – New York
Post by Frank Cierpial
Sometimes the hustle and bustle of New York can be too much for anybody and it is nice to take a short journey into a quiet mountain town. This mountain town is in the Garden State of New Jersey. It is called Montclair and I know it well, because I go to Montclair State University. Montclair is a town full of sidewalk cafés, cute little independently owned businesses, and is known for its French community. Baptiste and Leme Maldonado are part of this French community. They came here from Versailles, France two years ago, and just 8 months ago opened this adorable French Pastry place called “Le Petit Parisien”. Continue reading
Pretty Paris Pictures : Snow!
I am sure every Paris based blogger has been posting articles about the snow blanketed city of lights! Thanks to the delightful powdering by mother nature we all got to enjoy winter for once in the city-that-rarely-gets-snow.
So now, allow me to add mine to the list.
Also you can visit Le Figaro’s collection of photos of Paris under the snow, where you can see how pretty it is, and Parisians having fun, and *gasp* helping eachother!
I also enjoyed A French Frye In Paris’ post with pictures of all the snowy playfulness in Montmartre!
Enjoy!
