Antonio Ortega Haute Couture SS15 – Urban Impression-ism

A captivating collection to say the least. Slightly impressionist silk prints dominated his collection, a mix between de Vinci and urban graffiti, Ortega has a striking sense of how to underline the forms of the female body as a heroic yet delicate being. Sexy without being vulgar, fluid without being too lofty, his designs and his collection we full of details that captured the attention. « Fragile » tape on large round headpieces that were reminiscent of madonna-esque characters from da Vinci paintings were poignant.

The Antonio Ortega woman is both strong and gentle at the same time, sexy but graceful, a little wild and modern yet well rooted in a femininity that cannot be denied.
