  1. I’ve been following your blog and twitter posts for a while. I moved here last year, and blogs are such a great way to “jump right in” to a new city. Since we celebrate our relationship and our good fortune to live in this city quite often, we keep it simple for V-Day. Tonight we’ll cook together: Coquilles St. Jacques, arugula salad with chèvre, apples & pomegranate and a chipotle shrimp & tomato bisque. There will be champagne and our favorite sweets for dessert, of course. Fingers crossed that I WIN the beautiful gift 😉

  2. Hi Melissa! This is such a lovely Valentines day idea. I celebrate my loved ones with homemade treats and hand-drawn cards. Simple but from the heart.

I wish I’d been able to check out this store when I was in Paris. I love pretty things…and little soaps!

    1. Bianca B. I love homemade treats and hand drawn cards the best!!! Tell me dear, what is your twitter handle and facebook name so I can count your entry! 🙂 Bises!!!

  3. What a sweet way to celebrate Valentine’s Day! Let’s see, I celebrated today a few days early by taking my favorite person, my daughter, out on a date. We did the whole nails and jewelry thing and neither of us wanted to say goodbye. Alas, her college campus doesn’t allow adults to just move on in. 🙂

  4. Happy V Day! It’s an big and exciting day for me…. At work. It’s our busiest day of the year for our parlors as they make heart shaped pizzas! I celebrate my friends byt sharing some Valentine’s cupcakes and light-hearted conversation.

  5. This month I had to buy a new computer because my laptop was dying. So now I made sure my husband didn’t go and spend anymore money on me. But to make the day special I pulled out our table and set it up in our small apartment. Made tiramisu for the first time and ricotta stuffed pasta shells. It was a great dinner. We watched the old romantic comedy, Only You. And enjoyed a great evening at home making sure not to be on our phones or computers. It was one of our best yet and it was just a home.

My name on Facebook is listed at Christina Smith-Maillioux. I’ve been a fan there for awhile now. <3

I'm tweeting now and will go find another post to comment on.

  7. Oooh and forgot to mention, for Valentine’s we went back to the Restaurant where we first met in Paris. St Michel for dinner where we first had one french translation book, deux verres of rouge vin, an awkward Australian woman and a beautiful Frenchman 18 months ago!!! And we put a lock of the Bridge of love too …. oooh I know tres romantique ! ; )))

  8. Valentine’s day in Malta has only recently caught on, but knowing that I’ll probably be moving to Paris come August; there was nothing better than spending it over dinner with the people I love.

( I tweeted on twitter (tea91) and liked your page on Facebook too (Martina Portelli)

  9. Hello dear, this is @LaClePeauBeaute from Twitter. Just entering your first giveaway for fun. Some day, I’ll make it to Paris. Some day soon I hope.

I celebrate with loved ones with a dinner, or, if it’s just with friends, some shopping is always lovely & fun.

I’ve got to begin updating my wordpress beauty blog, but I want a new camera before I really try to begin letting more people know about it.

Talk to you soon! ~ Tyler

  10. Good afternoon lovelies! What a great idea. I celebrate my loved ones with the simple, old fashioned things: handmade cards with written notes inside, homemade heart shaped pancakes to start a special day, and spending time with them- no cell phones, no ipads, just spending time doing things like playing the in the park with Mini-Lili, walking along the river or sitting in front of the fire in the evening with some jazz in the background and a good bottle of wine. And chocolates of course!

  12. I actually got to say yes to forever with my best friend in Paris, so celebrating this particular loved one always involves reminiscing about our trip to Paris 🙂 I’m celebrating with all of my loved ones this summer with a French country inspired wedding. So, you see, Paris is a part of celebrating some of the most important loved ones I’m so fortunate to have – and let’s be honest, I could use this little piece of Paris back here in the US!

From 2/28 – @ElizRhoads I just entered the February Valentines giveaway on @PreteMoiParis! I could really use a little #Paris in the US 🙂 http://wp.me/p10SfI-V9
